The HORROR & FANTASY Film Festival List

It would be horrible not to know how to get an overview of the numerous horror and fantasy film festivals and where in the world they take place. To prevent this nightmare, we took charge of the situation and listed the most interesting festivals of these long-existing genres.

Thrilled by the huge amount of horror and fantasy film festivals worldwide, we have tried to figure out which festivals belong to the categories must haves, important ones and to keep on the radar. Here is the manageable and informative list for you. Since we found out there are many more festivals than expected, we have included an additional (new) category with no description to complete the list.

Most of these genre festivals are not only dedicated to horror and fantasy, but are very often also related to the topics sci-fi, martial arts, thriller or mystery.

Have fun checking out our HORROR & FANTASY FILM FESTIVAL LIST over at FilmFestivalLife.

The list is a flexible reference and editable any time. If you think there is a festival missing please share a comment.
