Hollyshorts announced as an Academy Award Qualifying Film Festival

Your submission on FFL might just launch your short into La La Land, as our fantastic partner festivals Hollyshorts has been announced as an Academy Award-accredited festival.

The awards season is in full swing. Did you also know we have many Academy accredited festivals on FFL? Alongside festivals such as Sydney and the soon-to-open Cork and Encounters, the fantastic Hollyshorts has recently been accredited by the Academy.

The 13th HollyShorts Film Festival takes place August 10-19, 2017 at the TCL Chinese 6 Theaters, Roosevelt Hotel and other top venues in Hollywood, CA.

Recipients of the HollyShorts Film Festival Best Short Film Grand Prize will be eligible for consideration in the Live Action Short Film category of the Academy Awards! So don’t waste your time, the festival is now accepting early bird submissions for consideration, early bird deadline is February 3!
